Happy UNBirthday!

So at the beginning of this week I asked Merlin what the date was. He told me Monday was the third, so I was planning on Wednesday being the 5th. Right! Did I mention that his birthday was on the 5th? So on Tuesday, which is really the 5th, I make all these appointments for dentist, eye appointment, doc appointment and never once look at the current date. AKA his birthday. I only realize it once his mom calls and is like "I need to wish Mer a happy birthday". Freak. So hence today being his unbirthday!

A New YEAR!

Thanksgiving and Christmas were great. Merlin's whole family came for Thanksgiving, and then again for New Years Week. They started the construction for the basement of our house. We're putting in a stairway for an outside entrance. They only had one landslide, and luckily no one was caught in it.

Evan was blessed that weekend and nearly everyone in our families made. He was almost 5 weeks old. He's a big boy! (He's wearing a 6 month sized outfit)
Evan decided he wanted to open his only Christmas present from Santa a week early in order to get some use before he grows out of it.

Here is a pic of Evan and his cousin Will. Will is 8 months, Evan is two months. He's a little chunk. Poor little Wiliam got his bottle taken away for the picture.
